OCTOBER

October 5, 12, 19 –  Rev. Dr. James A. Harnish, Retired Methodist Pastor, will speak with us about his new book “Everyday Epiphanies.,” chapters 1-3 on the 5th, chapters 4-6 on the 12th, chapters 7-9 on the 19th.

October 26 – Book Reviews by class members

NOVEMBER

November 2 & 9, 2025 – Rev. Dr. Waite Willis,  recently retired as Head of the Religion Department at Florida Southern College and now serving as Theologian in Residence for the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church, will explore The Doctrine of God – Who is God? (Trinity, Nature, and Attributes).

November 16, 2025 – John Richard and Linda Van Niekirk will inform us with many details about our church organ.

 

November 23,  2025 – Tim Maurer will lead a “Living the Questions” lesson.

 

November 30, 2025 – Joanie Schirm  will join us again, telling us how people are feeling towards the U.S. these days as she traveled to Czechoslovakia and England visiting friends and cousins she found researching her book she shared with us about her father (NU recording August 15, 2021),”My Dear Boy, A World War II Story of Escape, Exile and Revelation.” 

 

JANUARY, 2026

January 11, 2026 – Speaker from Blue Angels, a Tampa Agency working to reduce political polarization by learning to listen and talk respectfully with folks from all political perspectives.
