JUNE

June 1, 2025 – Renee Bronson, a resident of Kissimmee, had an Uncle who was part of the Klan and participated in the attack. After we view the film, she and her husband will join the class virtually for a discussion 

June 8, 2025 – Joyce Johnson will present her work with the traveling unknown soldiers memorial. Class begins at 9:00 this week.

 

June 15, 2025 – Jim Manuel,  amateur Missionary, will  talk about his 18-day trip to the United Methodist Quessua Mission in Angola.

 

June 22, 2025 – Dr. Ben Jacob will inform us about malaria and his development for irradiating the disease.

 

June 29, 2025 –  Dianne Turgeon Richardson – Prophetic Poetry Then and Now – She will examine the purpose and function of poetry in the books of the Latter Prophets and compare to modern examples. 


JULY

July 6, 2025 Drew Strait, theologian, in a You Tube video discussing how faith communities can challenge Christian nationalism, violent extremism, and Christian supremacy with strategic nonviolence.

July 20, 2025 – Brian T. Kaylor, a Baptist minister with a Ph.D. in political communication, is president & editor-in-chief of Word&Way, award-winning writer and expert on issues of religion, politics, and communication, author or co-author of five books on religion and politics
