August 2, 2026 – Rev. Matt Miofsky video, part 2, with more specific ideas on how Methodist churches can regain passion, energy and commitment.
August 9, 2026 – Rev. Dr. Ron Sisk will discuss Just War Theory. He will look at Christian Just War Theory as a way of thinking about the current conflicts in Iran and Ukraine and when war can be right for Christians.
August 16, 2026 – Rev Ron Sisk with a refresher on the proper place of the Bible as Christian literature, and the place of Scripture in making ethical decisions.
August 23, 2026 – Rev. Ron Sisk discussing the Scripture and American traditions regarding immigration
August 30, 2026 – Jeff Fitzgerald, Executive Director, will “share my heart for Edgewood Children’s Ranch and the incredible ways God is working through the ministry to bring hope and restoration to so many children and families.”

September 6, 2026 – Technical audio difficulty prevented showing the second of an online series presented by Prof. Amy Jill Levine. Impromptu classroom discussion took place.
September 13, 2026 – A video will be played of the homily by Dominic Crossan given at John and Griff’s wedding ceremony in the sanctuary of our Church. Open classroom discussion of various topics will follow.
September 20, 2026 – Russ Montgomery will speak about Cuba and other Caribbean islands,
Sept 27, 2026 – Nu Class member Amy Barcus will lead the class discussion of “Evolutionary Christianity” from the DVD series “Painting the Stars: Science, Religion and an Evolving Faith.
